Job Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager at Storm Ideas will lead at the intersection of creativity, SEO strategy, and automation. This role involves managing a team of five and overseeing the full scope of SEO and related services, driving measurable growth for major US TV and entertainment clients. The manager will shape the agency’s service offerings, standardise processes, oversee tools and budgets, and leverage AI-powered workflows to transform insights into impactful results—consistently delivering on time, on brief, and beyond expectations.

  • Highly organised, with exceptional time-management skills and attention to detail, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
  • A creative problem-solver who thinks outside the box and consistently prioritises an outstanding client experience, even under pressure.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of technical, on-page, and content SEO, with hands-on experience using common SEO and analytics tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Lighthouse.
  • Experienced in managing people, including hiring, training, conducting one-on-ones, and performance reviews.
  • Proficient with collaborative workflow tools like Airtable and FigJam, and quick to adapt to new technologies.
  • Tech-curious, with a strong aptitude for learning both creative and technical processes, and comfortable experimenting with AI to streamline and enhance workflows.
  • A confident and clear communicator, able to convey ideas concisely in writing, command credibility in meetings, and remain composed with clients under pressure.
  • Skilled at prioritising tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic, ownership mindset, and consistent follow-through.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of five across SEO, editorial content, digital programming, and analytics.
  • Take full ownership of SEO strategy—including technical, on-page, content, and measurement—ensuring best practices are consistently applied across client websites.
  • Be accountable for the quality of deliverables, adherence to timelines, and overall client satisfaction.
  • Oversee analytics and reporting, including KPIs, dashboards, regular reports, and insights.
  • Refine and package service offerings, while supporting proposals and pricing strategies.
  • Manage budgets and resource utilisation for all services.
  • Establish, document, and maintain scalable processes, SOPs, and team training materials

Recruitment Process

  • Questions & Task – Following a review of the application, candidates may be asked to respond to a set of questions via a self-recorded video and complete a brief task to demonstrate their skills.
