Core Responsibilities
- Deliver polished, high-performing web solutions following best-practice UX/UI.
- Set the creative standard across all website and design projects.
- Manage full website redesigns (primarily WordPress, occasionally Webflow).
- Balance hands-on design work with strategic direction and team support.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth design-to-build handovers.
- Apply an iterative design process with strong focus on typography, composition, hierarchy, and balance.
- Work within brand guidelines while elevating the overall visual identity where possible.
- Research inspiration and develop innovative visual concepts and directions.
- Take ownership of internal brand visuals and maintain high design standards.
- Review and approve all design elements before finalisation.
- Lead client workshops to define project requirements and strategy.
- Partner with the Project/Account Manager to deliver projects on time, to a high standard, and within scope.
- Proactively manage scope creep to keep projects on track.
- Communicate clearly and positively with clients and team members to foster collaboration.
Skills & Requirements
- Possesses over five years of experience within an advertising agency, creative studio, or media organisation, with a strong background in design implementation across diverse clients and styles.
- Holds a solid understanding of content marketing design principles.
- Demonstrates proven expertise in UX research and strategy, including wireframing, user flows, prototyping, and information architecture.
- Skilled in project management, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and coordinate both individual and team efforts to meet deadlines.
- Experienced in brand design and brand uplift, including the creation of style guides and visual guidelines.
- Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Business Suite.
- Recognised as a proactive professional who focuses on execution while also being highly creative, bringing a wealth of fresh ideas.
