Position Overview
A dynamic opportunity awaits an experienced SEO professional to step into a senior-level position within a fast-paced, forward-thinking digital marketing agency that serves multiple clients. This full-time, fully remote role is open to skilled candidates worldwide who have a strong history of delivering tangible results in organic search performance.
The selected candidate will spearhead SEO strategies and oversee implementation across a varied client base, blending deep technical expertise with innovative thinking. This is a role for someone who thrives in a team-oriented setting, enjoys mentoring less experienced colleagues, and is enthusiastic about the impact of AI on the future of digital marketing.
As this role involves direct client interaction, candidates must be comfortable working in alignment with U.S. business hours. Core working hours are typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, though some scheduling flexibility is expected to accommodate client meetings.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of advanced SEO strategies for multiple client accounts.
- Perform technical SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with content, development, and account teams to ensure effective SEO implementation.
- Stay updated on search algorithm changes, AI advancements, and industry trends to adapt strategies.
- Utilise AI tools to optimise content strategy, SEO processes, and reporting.
- Mentor junior SEO team members and contribute to agency-wide process improvements.
- Prepare and deliver performance reports and strategy updates to clients and internal teams.
Skills & Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment.
- Proven ability to drive organic traffic and improve search visibility across B2B, B2C, lead gen, and eCommerce clients.
- Skilled in managing client communications and presenting strategies at a senior level.
- Deep knowledge of search algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Strong expertise in technical SEO, structured data, page speed optimisation, and site architecture.
- Proficient in keyword research, SERP analysis, and content optimisation.
- Familiarity with local, international, and eCommerce SEO is a plus.
- Experienced with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and content tools like SurferSEO.
- Comfortable working with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and HubSpot.
- Passionate about the intersection of SEO and AI, with hands-on experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar.
- Forward-thinking mindset on how generative AI impacts search behaviour, workflows, and SEO strategies.
- Willing to test, implement, and share AI-driven innovations within the team.
