Job Overview
Burst Digital is seeking an experienced and results-driven Paid & Social Media Specialist to lead its paid media strategy and execution, while driving organic social media growth for both the agency and its clients. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years’ agency experience, with a proven track record of managing paid campaigns across multiple platforms and crafting impactful, data-driven social strategies. Applications without this level of experience will not be considered.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and refining paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads, LinkedIn, and TikTok, while also overseeing organic social media initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and engagement.

Core Responsibilities
Paid Media Strategy & Execution
- Plan, create, and manage paid ad campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other emerging platforms.
- Develop data-driven strategies to optimise ad spend and maximise ROI while exceeding client KPIs.
- Set up, test, and refine audience targeting, ad creatives, and bidding strategies.
- Analyse campaign performance and prepare detailed reports with actionable insights.
- Collaborate with designers and copywriters to produce high-performing ad creatives.
- Stay updated on platform changes, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Social Media Strategy & Content Execution
- Develop and implement organic social media strategies to boost engagement, awareness, and conversions across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
- Manage content calendars, scheduling, and publishing across all relevant platforms.
- Work with content creators, designers, and video editors to ensure engaging, high-quality output.
- Identify new growth opportunities through trends, collaborations, and platform innovations.
- Implement community engagement tactics to strengthen relationships with followers and increase brand visibility.
- Monitor and analyse social media metrics, adjusting content strategies based on data insights.
Client & Project Management
- Act as a strategic partner to clients, aligning social and paid media strategies with overall business objectives.
- Manage client communication, providing consistent updates, reports, and performance insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams across content, design, and SEO for integrated marketing execution.
- Maintain project organisation and workflow using Monday.com or similar project management tools.
AI Integration & Innovation
- Research and implement AI-driven tools to enhance paid and organic social performance.
- Experiment with automation for campaign optimisation, audience targeting, and content creation.
- Stay informed on emerging AI and marketing technology trends to keep Burst Digital ahead of the curve.
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of five years’ experience working in a digital agency environment, with a focus on paid media and/or social media. (Applications without this experience will not be considered.)
- Demonstrated expertise in managing paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms — from campaign setup and optimisation to reporting and performance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other advertising platforms.
- Proven experience in developing and managing organic social media growth, content strategies, and audience engagement initiatives.
- Ability to analyse data and key performance metrics to refine campaigns and enhance overall results.
- Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools including Google Analytics, Agency Analytics, SEO software, and social media scheduling platforms.
- Solid understanding of AI-driven marketing technologies, or a strong interest and willingness to learn and apply AI tools in marketing strategies.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines effectively.
- A creative and strategic mindset with a strong awareness of social media trends, audience behaviour, and visual storytelling.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, capable of translating data insights and strategies into clear, client-ready explanations.
