- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, value-driven software.
- Maintain a sustainable and balanced development pace.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to define the roadmap and prioritise initiatives.
- Drive technical improvements that align with Prisma’s strategic objectives.
Skills & Requirements
- Over 8 years of proven leadership in software engineering teams, with direct hands-on experience as a software engineer.
- Strong technical proficiency, particularly in database and backend technologies, including TypeScript and SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, and SQL Server. Familiarity with cloud services, APIs (GraphQL/REST), and developer tooling is considered an advantage.
- Commitment to high-quality standards, balancing excellence with pragmatism and purpose. Exhibits a strong sense of ownership, makes thoughtful trade-offs, and drives meaningful impact.
- Ability to guide teams in understanding the rationale behind decisions, fostering clarity and alignment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly, tailor messaging to diverse audiences, provide and receive constructive feedback, and promote cross-team collaboration.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking, approaching challenges methodically and making well-reasoned decisions. Capable of effective planning, setting clear goals, anticipating potential obstacles, and ensuring smooth execution while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.

Hiring Process

- Take-home assignment, followed by a debrief with members of Engineering and Leadership.
- Team interview with engineers from the relevant team.
- Leadership interview with the COO.
- Final interview with the CEO.
