Job Overview
The role calls for a detail-oriented and results-driven SEO Specialist with a passion for uncovering growth opportunities, optimising websites, and making strategic, data-informed decisions.
This position is ideal for an individual motivated by improving search rankings, enhancing user experience, and driving tangible client success. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal production teams to deliver high-quality, SEO-optimised websites and measurable performance outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive keyword research to identify high-impact search terms relevant to clients’ target markets.
- Optimising website content, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and internal linking structures.
- Auditing and enhancing technical website elements such as site speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability.
- Implementing and optimising structured data markup (schema) and utilising Yoast functionality within WordPress.
- Performing regular SEO audits to detect and resolve issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content.
- Tracking, analysing, and reporting key SEO performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Moz Local, and other platforms.
- Reviewing and refining content to ensure appropriate tone, seamless keyword integration, and grammatical precision.
- Identifying backlink opportunities, building strategic relationships, and managing link-building initiatives.
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance SEO-related technical and content strategies.
- Communicating fluently in English, both verbally and in writing, and participating in virtual meetings to share updates and insights.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience working with WordPress (WP) and implementing hands-on SEO strategies.
- In-depth understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and structured data markup.
- Proficiency with analytics and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and related platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and confidence in collaborating within a remote, fast-paced work environment.
- High level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Compensation
- Base Pay: R185 per hour
- Performance-Based Commission: R18 – R93 per hour
- Total Potential Earnings: R203 – R278 per hour
- Estimated Monthly Earnings (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week):
- Base Salary: approximately R29,600
- Including Commission: approximately R32,500 – R44,500
