Core Responsibilities
The role oversees J. Blanton Plumbing’s paid acquisition engine end-to-end, requiring a highly hands-on approach. The focus is on designing and managing a full-funnel performance marketing system that drives booked appointments and completed jobs rather than vanity metrics.
Paid Social & Performance Media
- Manage and scale campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube with booked appointments and completed jobs as primary metrics.
- Develop and operate a full-funnel system that converts attention into revenue.
- Implement disciplined testing strategies across creative, offers, audiences, and placements.
- Build and manage a content production process that rapidly generates ideas, produces creatives, and tests at speed.
- Launch and optimise interactive, quiz-based, and funnel-driven experiences to boost intent and bookings.
- Control paid media budgets with a strong focus on CPCA, CAC, MER, and scaling performance.
- Take ownership of performance outcomes, diagnosing and correcting inefficiencies in booked appointment costs or CAC.
Content Machine (Core Focus)
- Utilise AI tools, third-party UGC creators, and the in-house editing team to produce high-impact creative at speed.
- Develop clear, actionable creative briefs detailing hooks, angles, messaging, objections, and specific do’s and don’ts.
- Translate performance data into repeatable systems, doubling down on effective strategies and eliminating underperformers quickly.
Measurement, Attribution & Accountability
- Manage paid media tracking and attribution across all platforms.
- Monitor and optimise campaigns against CPCA, CAC, MER, and ROAS benchmarks.
- Produce weekly performance updates covering tests run, successes, failures, and next steps.
- Maintain a performance narrative clearly tied to revenue outcomes.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Booked appointments generated via paid social.
- Cost per Completed Appointment (CPCA).
- CAC, MER, and ROAS at scale.
- Creative velocity, measured by new concepts shipped weekly.
- Share of spend allocated to top-performing creatives.
Skills & Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in paid social media buying, preferably within the home improvement or home services industry.
- Demonstrated success driving results using UGC-style creative.
- Strong expertise in creative testing, going beyond simple audience or bid adjustments.
- Comfortable collaborating closely with creators, editors, and operational teams.
- Solid analytical skills with a clear understanding of CAC, MER, ROAS, and attribution.
- Highly action-oriented, with a focus on speed, ownership, and delivering measurable results.
