About the Role
Paradox Media is seeking a highly driven Media Buyer with a genuine passion for all things paid media. The ideal candidate is someone who lives by performance metrics like CPMs, CTRs, and ROAS, and stays ahead of evolving platform updates and advertising trends.
In this position, the Media Buyer will take charge of paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (Search, Display, YouTube), and potentially other channels such as TikTok and Pinterest. The role requires a self-motivated individual who can independently plan, execute, monitor, and optimise campaigns with accuracy and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities
- Develop, launch, and oversee paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, and additional digital platforms.
- Strategically manage advertising budgets to maximise profitability and ensure a strong return on investment.
- Conduct thorough market and audience research to refine targeting strategies and creative direction.
- Organise and maintain ad account structures for clear tracking, streamlined optimisation, and accurate reporting.
- Track campaign performance on a daily basis, applying real-time adjustments to enhance outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with designers and copywriters to ensure creative assets and messaging align with campaign goals.
- Implement and manage conversion tracking systems such as Meta Pixel and Google Tag Manager to measure performance effectively.
- Prepare detailed performance reports that highlight data-driven insights, key successes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Continuously experiment with audiences, placements, bidding methods, and creative variations to optimise results.
- Remain proactive in staying up to date with the latest platform updates, advertising innovations, and emerging tools.
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of five years’ experience managing paid media campaigns across Meta and Google, with additional hands-on experience in Bing Ads (1 year), Google Ads (3 years), and Meta Ads (2 years).
- Demonstrated ability to handle budgets strategically and use data-driven insights to optimise performance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of account structuring, sales funnel strategy, and attribution models.
- Proficiency in tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Strong grasp of ad creative strategy, with an understanding of what drives engagement and conversions.
- Practical experience conducting A/B tests and implementing effective campaign optimisations.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently, showing initiative and sound judgment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and interpret performance data clearly.
- Must be available to work according to US (EST) hours.
