Job Overview

A UK-based client is seeking a results-oriented PPC/Paid Media Specialist to join its dynamic team of digital marketing professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns and continuously optimising paid media strategies for a portfolio of key clients. Working closely with the wider PPC team, the role will focus on delivering measurable performance outcomes and achieving campaign objectives.

In addition, the team provides digital support to numerous charities, particularly through the management of Google Ad Grants to strengthen their online visibility. With a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making, the organisation’s digital marketing strategies have helped many clients significantly expand and enhance their online presence.

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and optimise PPC and paid social media campaigns with substantial advertising budgets.
  • Develop and execute optimisation strategies aimed at improving click-through rates and increasing conversions.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on advertising performance to drive continuous campaign improvements.
  • Ensure full compliance of all Google Ad Grant accounts with programme policies and requirements.
  • Maximise the effectiveness of Google Ad Grant and GrantsPro accounts to support charitable organisations in achieving their objectives.
  • Ensure landing page content is closely aligned with advertising messaging to improve campaign relevance and performance.
  • Establish clear, measurable goals to track performance and demonstrate improvements in marketing efforts.
  • Provide clients with regular updates, reports, and feedback on campaign progress and results.
  • Lead internal client teams to ensure the timely delivery of all campaign and project requirements.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly performance reports, primarily using Google Analytics as the main measurement tool.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular remote meetings and strategic collaboration.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their objectives and translate these into effective paid media campaigns.
  • Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance and marketing outcomes.
  • Contribute to new business proposals, pitches, and client acquisition initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and industry best practices.

Skills & Requirements

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in planning, managing, and optimising PPC and paid social media campaigns, with a proven track record of delivering strong performance results.
  • Ability to independently set up, manage, optimize, and report on campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, and other paid media channels.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects or client accounts simultaneously, with the capacity to oversee approximately 8–12 clients at a time.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, adapt quickly, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Solid working knowledge of Google Analytics, including the ability to analyse campaign performance and generate clear reports on marketing outcomes.
  • Practical experience using Google Tag Manager for campaign tracking and performance measurement.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring professional and error-free client communication.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with clients.
