Job Overview

The Paid Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing tailored pay-per-click (PPC) strategies aligned to each client’s specific business objectives. The role involves building, managing, and optimising Google Ads campaigns to drive measurable performance outcomes. In addition, the specialist maintains strong client relationships, with a clear focus on communication, satisfaction, and long-term client retention.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PPC and account growth strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Manage and nurture client relationships, with a strong emphasis on satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Build, maintain, and optimise Google Ads campaigns to achieve consistent performance improvements.
  • Define, monitor, and track PPC goals across annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly timeframes.
  • Create customised PPC strategies based on each client’s specific business goals.
  • Identify risks, challenges, or underperformance within PPC accounts and implement effective solutions.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly video calls with clients to review campaign performance, insights, and results.
  • Oversee weekly SEM management for a portfolio of approximately 40–50 clients.
  • Write, edit, and publish content across client websites and landing pages as required.
  • Execute ongoing weekly management of Google Ads accounts, with a primary focus on search campaigns.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret SEM performance data to drive optimisation and improved outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider digital marketing team to continuously enhance service delivery and campaign performance.

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of one year’s experience managing Google Ads and Bing Ads accounts.
  • Google Ads Certification, Google Analytics Certification, and/or completion of a Google Ads Nano-Degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
  • Demonstrated experience in account management and client-facing communication.
  • Experience using project management software to manage tasks and workflows effectively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work for extended periods while seated at a desk and using a computer.
  • Capacity to attend and actively participate in in-person meetings as required.
