Job Overview

The Paid Media Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving lead generation, brand awareness, and revenue growth through data-driven paid media campaigns. In this hybrid position, the strategist leads Designity’s internal paid media initiatives while also supporting strategic campaigns for clients—creating opportunities to make a meaningful impact across multiple industries.

This role involves managing paid search (Google and Bing search/display), paid social (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, and more), and programmatic advertising. By leveraging AI-powered tools, the strategist enhances audience targeting, bid automation, and ad creative optimisation to achieve maximum performance.

Collaboration is central to the role, as the Paid Media Strategist works closely with Designity’s marketing and creative teams to ensure paid media efforts align seamlessly with the organisation’s broader strategic objectives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high-impact paid media strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta, Reddit, X, programmatic networks, and other emerging paid channels.
  • Create and refine ad copy and visual assets to maximise engagement and conversion performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure paid campaigns complement and strengthen organic growth initiatives.
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimise audience targeting, messaging, and bidding strategies for improved campaign results.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments to enhance overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Manage and allocate advertising budgets strategically to achieve the highest possible return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Utilise AI-powered tools to analyse user behaviour, identify trends, and optimise ad performance in real time.
  • Develop and execute retargeting campaigns aimed at re-engaging high-intent prospects and nurturing leads through the sales funnel.
  • Support Account-Based Marketing (ABM) efforts by designing hyper-targeted, personalised ad campaigns that drive meaningful engagement and conversions.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in paid media, PPC, or performance marketing, working with both B2B and B2C brands.
  • Demonstrated success in driving lead generation and accelerating sales pipelines.
  • Advanced expertise in Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other paid social media strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of conversion tracking, attribution models, and performance analytics.
  • Proficient in using AI-powered tools to optimise campaign performance, improve targeting accuracy, and maximise ROI.
  • Experienced with CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce, as well as marketing automation tools.
  • Highly analytical and results-oriented, with a track record of reducing cost per lead (CPL), increasing sales-qualified leads (SQLs), and improving return on ad spend (ROAS).
