Core Responsibilities
- Prepare thoroughly for lessons by reviewing structured teaching materials.
- Deliver engaging, well-organised English lessons using The Faculty’s curriculum and methodology.
- Motivate and support learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Foster a positive, professional, and interactive virtual classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Possesses a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certification.
- Teaching experience is preferred, particularly in an online setting.
- Demonstrates excellent spoken and written English with a neutral accent.
- Confident in using Zoom and other essential digital tools.
- Exhibits strong online classroom presence and effective communication skills.
Equipment & Infrastructure:
- Owns a laptop or PC with Intel® Core™ i5 or higher and at least 8GB RAM.
- Has a stable fibre internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download/upload (LAN cable connection only).
- Equipped with an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) providing 4–5 hours of backup power.
- Maintains a separate mini-UPS to keep the fibre router operational during outages.
- Uses a noise-cancelling headset, HD webcam, and a quiet, professional workspace.
Working Hours
The Faculty offers a variety of shifts, including both part-time and full-time options, generally scheduled from mid-afternoon to the early hours of the morning. Successful applicants will collaborate with a recruiter to determine a shift pattern that aligns with their availability and lifestyle.
