An international online teaching provider is currently recruiting South African tutors for online English teaching positions. This opportunity is well-suited to individuals seeking a stable and rewarding role with reputable companies that value professional educators.
Position Overview
The role offers flexibility, structured schedules, and the chance to teach both children and adults. Tutors will receive comprehensive support, including access to prepared teaching materials for certain positions, as well as employment contracts with benefits such as paid leave that accrues over time.
Compensation and Benefits
- R100 – R120 per 50-minute lesson

Recruitment Process
The application process is straightforward. Candidates are asked to submit a CV and an introductory video (with assistance available for video preparation if required). Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview followed by a short teaching demonstration.
Teaching Schedules
Tutors are required to be available during the following time slots (South African Standard Time):
- 12:00 – 16:00, six days per week, with earlier weekend hours available, or
- 14:00 – 21:00, Monday to Thursday, and 08:00 – 16:30 on Fridays

Requirements
- A Degree or Diploma (certain positions may be available without this requirement)
- Prior experience in teaching or tutoring, with preference given to those with English or Mathematics backgrounds
- An engaging and enthusiastic teaching approach
- Reliable internet connection
- Laptop or desktop computer (preferably with an up-to-date CPU)
- Backup power source (advantageous)
