Job Overview
The company is seeking a talented Marketing Copywriter to join its fast-paced and creative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing engaging and high-performing copy across a variety of digital platforms.
This role requires a copywriter with a strong understanding of social-first content, particularly for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, as well as experience creating compelling copy for email campaigns, landing pages, and websites. The individual will play an important role in promoting campaigns and competitions to existing creators while also developing messaging that attracts new live-streaming creators to collaborate with GravitasQ.
The position involves close collaboration with the Videographer and Campaign Manager to develop content ideas, contribute to video concept direction, and ensure that written copy aligns effectively with visual content. The overall objective is to maximise engagement and performance across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other digital channels.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop engaging, marketing-focused copy for campaigns, creator promotions, competitions, announcements, and agency communications.
- Produce compelling captions, hooks, and hashtag strategies tailored for TikTok and Instagram content.
- Create persuasive messaging designed to attract new live-streaming creators to join the GravitasQ agency.
- Optimise written content for engagement and virality by leveraging platform trends, analytics, and audience insights.
- Work collaboratively with the videographer to review video footage, recommend creative angles and hooks, and contribute ideas on video concepts likely to perform well on TikTok and Instagram.
- Write persuasive copy for email campaigns, landing pages, and website content, while also contributing ideas for additional promotional materials.
- Repurpose video content into attention-grabbing social media posts that encourage audience interaction.
- Monitor social media trends and platform behaviour to ensure that all content remains relevant, timely, and impactful.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in copywriting, content creation, or similar roles within a marketing environment.
- Proven ability to produce social-first, marketing-driven copy, particularly for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, or for creator-focused brands.
- Strong understanding of how to craft copy that encourages virality, audience engagement, and user action.
- Knowledge of how to strategically use hashtags to expand reach and improve content visibility.
- A solid understanding of creator economy trends and the elements that contribute to high-performing social media posts.
- Ability to review video content and transform it into engaging narratives, captions, and hooks that resonate with audiences.
- Experience producing high-conversion copy for email campaigns, landing pages, and other promotional materials.
- A proactive and creative mindset, with confidence in contributing ideas, insights, and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working with content creators, marketing agencies, or live-streaming platforms.
- Familiarity with TikTok and Instagram algorithm behaviour and how it influences content performance.
