Job Overview
AvaloniaUI OÜ is on the hunt for a creative Marketing & Communications Manager to take our brand to the next level. You’ll lead PR, partnerships, website updates, and content as our editor-in-chief, making sure everything we share is clear, compelling, and impactful.
As an early hire, you’ll shape and grow our marketing function from the ground up, collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams—perfect for someone who loves strategy and hands-on execution.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement AvaloniaUI OÜ’s marketing and communications strategy, ensuring it aligns with overall business objectives.
- Expand and develop the marketing team, aiming for full scale by Q1 2026.
- Drive public relations efforts, including media outreach, partnership announcements, and campaigns that boost industry visibility.
- Oversee major website updates and the creation of new pages in Framer, keeping content current and optimised for lead generation.
- Serve as editor-in-chief, ensuring all content—from blogs and announcements to social media and documentation—is high-quality and consistent.
- Work closely with internal teams to craft compelling stories that showcase Avalonia’s value to developers, enterprises, and partners.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on the impact of marketing and communications initiatives.
Skills & Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications, ideally in tech or software.
- Proven track record in marketing strategy and PR, including media outreach and announcements.
- Hands-on experience with website management tools (e.g., Framer) for content updates and site maintenance.
- Strong editorial skills, ensuring consistent, accurate, and engaging content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous-first environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in developer tools, open-source, or SaaS industries.
- Familiarity with .NET ecosystem or other developer communities.
- Knowledge of SEO, content distribution, and analytics tools.
- Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment, wearing multiple hats and adapting quickly.
