Job Overview
The role involves a detail-oriented Legal Content Writer who will contribute to the web content team. The successful candidate will produce accurate, engaging, and SEO-optimised legal content that helps law firms connect with potential clients while maintaining full regulatory compliance. This position requires a blend of creativity, SEO expertise, and editorial precision across multiple digital platforms, leveraging AI tools responsibly to complement professional human insight.
Core Responsibilities
- Produce, edit, and proofread SEO-optimised, EEAT-aligned content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other legal marketing materials.
- Utilise AI tools to assist with content outlining and proofreading, ensuring all outputs are thoroughly human-reviewed and compliant with legal standards.
- Work closely with SEO strategists to identify keywords, content gaps, and plan relevant topics.
- Simplify complex legal concepts into clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate content.
- Optimise content structure, metadata, internal linking, and calls to action to enhance search visibility while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Skills & Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Over 4 years of experience creating and editing SEO-optimised digital content, preferably within the legal marketing sector.
- Strong proficiency in AP style, with exceptional attention to detail in proofreading and editing.
- Competence in responsibly using AI tools, with the ability to evaluate and refine generated content.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Wix, or Shopify, and experience with digital marketing tools including ClickUp, Airtable, Hootsuite, Canva, and SEO tools (Google Search Console and SEMrush preferred).
