Tomorrow Labs is evolving into a high-performance “Powerhouse Boutique” agency and is seeking a Junior Paid Media Specialist who has moved beyond the theoretical learning stage and is ready to take action. The successful candidate will assist Senior Media Buyers and the Head of Department in creating, managing, and optimising high-impact campaigns across the agency’s client portfolio.
This is an active, hands-on role where the specialist will be responsible for managing live budgets, executing complex campaign setups with precision, and delivering data-driven insights that inform executive-level decisions.
Core Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution & Management (60%)
- Build & Launch: Execute comprehensive campaign setups on Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax) and META (Facebook/Instagram) in line with strategies provided by Senior team members.
- Optimisation: Conduct daily checks on budget pacing, adjust bids, and manage search term exclusions to ensure client spend remains within 98–100% of the allocated target.
- Hygiene: Uphold strict naming conventions and tracking configurations (GTM/Pixel) to maintain accurate and reliable data.
- Reporting & Analysis (20%)
- Compile weekly and monthly performance reports, moving beyond basic reporting to identify the underlying factors driving changes in performance.
- Monitor key performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, CTR) daily and promptly escalate any anomalies to the Head of Department.
- Emerging Channels & Creative (20%)
- Support the setup of test campaigns on emerging platforms, including TikTok Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Collaborate with the Design team to brief and review creative assets, ensuring all specifications and best practices are met prior to campaign launch.
Skills & Requirements
Essential Experience & Technical Skills:
- 1–2 years of hands-on agency experience managing Google Ads and META Ads campaigns.
- Proficient in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager, including basic container management.
- Must be based in Cape Town with reliable internet and power backup (UPS/Inverter) to support remote work days.
Platform Expertise:
- Expert Level: Google Ads, META Business Manager.
- Working Knowledge: TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Desirable: Experience with Looker Studio or similar dashboarding and reporting tools.
