Job Overview
Ruby Labs is looking to hire a proactive and meticulous Junior Email Marketing Specialist to join their expanding CRM & Email Marketing team. This role offers a valuable chance for individuals aiming to launch or advance their digital marketing careers by playing a key part in delivering effective lifecycle campaigns for several rapidly growing brands.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Manager and the Marketing Director, assisting in the implementation of email automation workflows, A/B testing, localisation efforts, and campaign analytics. They will gain hands-on experience with platforms such as Customer.io and Mixpanel, contributing to enhanced engagement, customer retention, and conversion rates across the Ruby Labs portfolio.
Core Responsibilities
- Campaign Development & Automation: Responsible for creating and deploying email campaigns and automated workflows within Customer.io, following detailed briefs, templates, and provided copy.
- Email Localisation Management: Oversee the adaptation of email content into multiple languages supported by the company’s products, utilising AI tools and adhering to localisation standards.
- A/B Testing Implementation: Manage the setup of A/B tests focusing on subject lines, content, and calls-to-action to enhance email open and conversion rates.
- Operational Assistance: Provide support to the Marketing team with quality assurance, list management, tagging, and UTM parameter tracking to maintain accurate data and flawless campaign execution.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor key email metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates using platforms like Mixpanel and Customer.io; generate weekly performance reports highlighting trends or irregularities.
- Cross-team Collaboration: Work alongside designers, product teams, and data analysts to ensure campaigns align with brand guidelines, maintain accuracy, and deliver effective results.
Skills & Requirements
- Professional Experience: Candidates should possess 1 to 2 years of practical experience in email marketing, CRM, digital marketing, or marketing operations.
- Language and Communication: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are required. Experience in managing or localising content across multiple languages is considered a valuable asset.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Customer.io or comparable platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Braze is essential. Experience with analytics tools like Mixpanel or Google Analytics is advantageous. A foundational understanding of A/B testing and audience segmentation is expected.
- Personal Attributes and Soft Skills: The ideal candidate is a quick learner with a strong enthusiasm for email marketing, detail-oriented, and methodical in approach.
