Job Overview

The Junior Content Manager at Punch! is responsible for overseeing and managing content production across multiple platforms. Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager and working closely with the in-house Graphic Design team, the successful candidate will support the execution of marketing campaigns and creative initiatives.

This role requires a proactive and hands-on individual who is confident in taking ownership of projects, working independently, and delivering high-quality results with minimal supervision.

Core Responsibilities

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Develop engaging and persuasive copy for social media platforms, blogs, email campaigns, landing pages, and website content updates.
  • Provide support with podcast-related content, including episode descriptions, repurposed materials, and promotional posts.
  • Contribute to the creation of lead magnets and downloadable resources.
  • Ensure all content remains consistent with Punch! brand voice, tone, and market positioning.

Social Media Management

  • Plan, schedule, and publish content, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
  • Transform long-form content into impactful short-form posts designed to drive engagement.
  • Monitor audience engagement and optimise content based on performance insights.

SEO & Blog Content

  • Support keyword research initiatives and implement SEO best practices.
  • Draft and optimise blog articles aimed at increasing organic traffic.
  • Ensure all content aligns with search intent and broader inbound marketing strategies.

Email Marketing

  • Create and manage email campaigns, including nurture sequences.
  • Assist with A/B testing and campaign optimisation efforts.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track, analyse, and report on overall content performance.
  • Identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Continuously refine content strategies to enhance engagement and conversion outcomes.

Skills & Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or social media management.
  • Demonstrates strong writing abilities, producing content that is clear, persuasive, and tailored to the target audience.
  • Confident in taking ownership of projects and managing them independently from concept to completion.
  • Highly organised, meticulous, and detail-oriented in approach.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and performing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous exposure to B2B, sales, or agency settings will be advantageous.

Tools & Platforms (experience beneficial but not essential)

  • Familiarity with tools such as Canva, HubSpot, ConvertKit, and Google Analytics.
  • Basic understanding of SEO tools, including SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress.
  • Knowledge of social media scheduling tools.

While expertise in every platform is not required, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and systems as needed.

Performance Metrics

  • Evaluated on the consistency, quality, and output of content produced across all channels.
  • Assessed by audience engagement and performance indicators on social media and other platforms.
  • Measured through growth in organic website traffic and improvements in SEO performance.
  • Contribution to the overall effectiveness of marketing initiatives and support of pipeline growth.
