Job Overview
The Google Ads Specialist will support client growth by delivering measurable results through paid media strategies. This role is responsible for planning, launching, and optimising performance-focused campaigns across Google Search, Display, YouTube, and Shopping platforms. Working closely with internal marketing teams, the specialist ensures all campaigns are aligned with brand objectives, conversion targets, and return on investment goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, and Shopping platforms.
- Perform in-depth keyword research, audience targeting, and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategy.
- Continuously optimise campaigns to improve key performance metrics, including CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROAS.
- Track daily campaign performance and produce clear, data-driven analytics and performance reports.
- Work collaboratively with copywriters and designers to create and refine high-performing ad creatives.
- Design and execute A/B testing initiatives to enhance ad effectiveness and conversion rates.
- Remain up to date with Google Ads platform updates, industry best practices, and algorithm changes.
- Oversee and allocate advertising budgets efficiently to maximise return on investment across multiple client accounts.
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns, either within an agency or in-house environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive conversions and optimise PPC campaigns for performance and efficiency.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking frameworks.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Tag Manager, Data Studio, or Looker is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, supported by clear and effective communication skills.
- Google Ads certification is preferred, though not essential.
- Proven capacity to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced, remote setting.
