Core Responsibilities

The Senior Email Marketing Specialist at BruntWork is responsible for driving strategy, execution, and performance across client email marketing initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

Strategy & Client Leadership

  • Lead the email marketing strategy for a portfolio of lifestyle, fashion, and travel brands, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Develop and present channel strategies to clients, grounded in data, customer journey insights, and analytics.
  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for email marketing across assigned client accounts.

Auditing & Account Development

  • Perform comprehensive audits of client email accounts, primarily using Klaviyo.
  • Identify performance gaps, compliance concerns, and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Recommend actionable plans to enhance performance and maximise customer lifecycle value.

Campaign & Flow Execution

  • Design and implement high-performing campaigns and automated flows, using segmentation, personalization, and behavioural logic.
  • Continuously test and optimise subject lines, content, send times, layouts, CTAs, and flow paths.
  • Ensure all campaigns are consistent with brand voice, creative identity, and conversion goals.

Creative Collaboration

  • Work closely with design teams to create visually compelling, on-brand email assets.
  • Provide data-driven creative direction and feedback to enhance campaign performance.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign performance via Klaviyo analytics, GA4, and client dashboards.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations to drive measurable growth.
  • Clearly communicate performance results to clients and internal stakeholders.

Best Practice & Compliance

  • Stay informed on email marketing trends, deliverability best practices, and privacy regulations, including GDPR.
  • Ensure all email campaigns comply with regulations and support the long-term health of the email channel.

Team Collaboration

  • Assist team members with cross-service collaboration when needed.
  • Share industry knowledge, testing methodologies, and optimisation strategies across the broader team.

Skills & Requirements

Experience & Expertise

  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in email marketing, preferably within an agency setting or DTC eCommerce environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Klaviyo, including flows, segmentation, testing, and analytics.
  • Demonstrated capability to audit email accounts and develop strategies that drive measurable growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines effectively.

Professional Competencies

  • Confident in presenting complex data in a clear, understandable way that builds client trust.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience conducting structured tests and interpreting performance trends.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, collaborating seamlessly with creative, strategy, and technical teams.

Additional Advantage

  • Experience with SMS marketing or broader CRM integration is considered a plus.
