Job Overview

Mint Source is seeking an Email Marketing Manager to support a UK-based e-commerce email marketing agency. The role involves full ownership of email and SMS strategy and execution for 5–7 e-commerce brands, overseeing the entire campaign lifecycle from planning and deployment to optimisation. Acting as a trusted marketing partner to clients, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-performing campaigns, maintaining clear and proactive communication, and driving consistent, measurable revenue growth across all managed accounts.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute email and SMS marketing strategies for 5–7 e-commerce brands using Klaviyo and related platforms.
  • Manage the full campaign lifecycle, from strategic planning and setup to launch, quality assurance, and post-campaign performance analysis.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients by participating in meetings, delivering weekly performance reports, and responding to enquiries via Slack and email.
  • Work closely with copywriters, designers, and technical teams to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Track, analyse, and optimise campaign performance using key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and revenue impact.
  • Conduct A/B testing, oversee audience segmentation, and build automated flows to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
  • Ensure all campaigns adhere to quality, compliance, and data protection standards, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR regulations.
  • Organise tasks and manage timelines through structured workflows in ClickUp and Slack to maintain project momentum and accountability.

Skills & Requirements

  • A minimum of 3.5 years’ hands-on experience in e-commerce email and SMS marketing, with strong expertise in Klaviyo (certification is advantageous).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple brand accounts simultaneously while consistently delivering high-quality execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of email and SMS automations, audience segmentation, and customer journey mapping.
  • Comfortable reviewing and collaborating on designs in Figma and working within project management tools such as ClickUp and Slack.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence in client-facing communication.
  • A data-driven approach, with the ability to analyse performance, identify opportunities, and implement actionable improvements.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Postscript, Attentive, or subscription tools like Recharge or Bold is considered an added advantage.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced agency environment with overlapping deadlines.
  • A portfolio or work samples are welcomed but not required.

Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Achieve measurable improvements in engagement performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and revenue contribution across assigned accounts.
  • Ensure all campaigns and automations are delivered on time, error-free, and in full compliance with quality assurance and regulatory standards.
  • Implement testing and optimisation initiatives that result in clearly documented performance improvements.
  • Maintain consistent, transparent client communication and reporting to build trust and support long-term partnerships.
