Role Overview

ClickOut Media is seeking an experienced and motivated Email Marketing Manager to lead its global email marketing programme. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing customer retention campaigns, ensuring high deliverability, and maximising return on investment through automation, segmentation, and data-driven optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage sophisticated campaign automations and customer journeys within Customer.io.
  • Oversee email list health, segmentation, and hygiene to optimise engagement and deliverability.
  • Monitor inbox placement, proactively manage technical deliverability, and maintain a strong sender reputation through best practices (DKIM, SPF, DMARC).
  • Conduct continuous split testing of copy, creative layouts, and subject lines to improve campaign performance.
  • Develop detailed reports and dashboards focusing on key metrics and ROI.
  • Ensure all campaigns comply with industry standards and regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience building automated journeys in Customer.io.
  • Proven track record in improving deliverability, open rates, and click-through rates (portfolio required).
  • Strong technical understanding of inbox placement and sender reputation management.
  • Experience executing campaigns in restricted or regulated industries.
  • Ability to run effective split tests to achieve measurable ROI.
  • Skilled in building KPI- and ROI-focused reports.
  • Comfortable adapting to changing deliverability rules and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customisation.
  • Background in iGaming, FinTech, or other high-volume B2C industries.
  • Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and CRM integrations.
