Job Overview

The position calls for a highly creative and results-oriented digital marketer with expertise in social media management, content editing, and digital campaign execution. The successful candidate will take responsibility for creating and editing content across various platforms, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines. While video shoots and production are managed by the SoMax team, this role involves transforming provided assets into engaging, social-first content and overseeing their performance.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow SoMax Group’s social presence across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, and YouTube.
  • Oversee community engagement, ensuring timely and professional interaction.
  • Plan and execute monthly content calendars aligned with global brand guidelines.
  • Edit and repurpose videos, reels, and graphics into engaging, social-first content.
  • Create digital assets using Canva and Adobe Suite while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Manage and optimise paid campaigns on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
  • Track key performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, conversions) and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Deliver regular performance reports and apply data-driven insights to guide creative and strategic decisions.

Skills & Requirements

  • Candidates must provide at least two direct social media links showcasing reels they have personally created or edited
  • 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing or social media management, preferably within a brand or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated success in community management.
  • Strong knowledge of Meta platforms, covering both organic and paid activity.
  • Practical experience managing paid campaigns across Meta and Google.
  • Proficiency in content editing and direction, including building content calendars, shaping creative output, and ensuring brand consistency.
  • Proven creativity in producing engaging short-form content, including reels and videos.
  • Competence with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, or equivalent.
  • Ability to analyse performance data, track key metrics, and report on campaign ROI.
