Job Overview

The Digital Ads Specialist will play a hands-on role in expanding and optimising paid media initiatives across multiple education brands. Working closely with an experienced Google Ads Manager, the role focuses on increasing overall advertising performance while taking full ownership of Meta advertising and exploring emerging platforms such as TikTok.

This position blends strategic insight with practical execution, requiring a strong understanding of campaign objectives alongside the ability to manage the end-to-end process of building, optimising, and scaling high-performing paid advertising campaigns.

Core Responsibilities

Meta Advertising (Primary Focus)

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of Meta ad accounts across multiple brands.
  • Plan, launch, and optimise campaigns in line with the broader paid media strategy.
  • Stay up to date with Meta platform developments, including Andromeda, and apply new features to improve performance.
  • Scale monthly Meta advertising spend toward $20,000+ per brand.
  • Analyse performance data and implement optimisations independently to drive results.

Google Ads Support

  • Support Google Ads execution, including campaign setup, bid management, audience creation, ad copy testing, and performance monitoring.
  • Take ownership of operational tasks to allow the Ads Manager to focus on higher-level strategy.
  • Execute structured testing plans and document insights and outcomes.
  • Identify optimisation opportunities and escalate strategic considerations where required.

Testing & Performance Analysis

  • Design and run structured A/B tests across campaigns, audiences, and creative variations.
  • Track, analyse, and report test results with clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Apply an understanding of attribution models and their impact on performance measurement.
  • Navigate multi-touch attribution challenges within a lead generation funnel.
  • Use Salesforce data to link advertising performance to downstream conversions and lead quality.

Channel Expansion

  • Partner with the Ads Manager to test and evaluate TikTok as an emerging advertising channel.
  • Apply existing TikTok advertising best practices or rapidly develop expertise where needed.
  • Support structured experimentation to assess product–channel fit and scalability.

Content & Creative Strategy

  • Develop a strong understanding of creative strategy, including how messaging, hooks, and formats influence performance.
  • Assess which creative concepts resonate with different audience segments and campaign goals.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brief ad requirements based on performance data and conversion insights.
  • Provide detailed performance feedback to guide future creative development.
  • Identify whether performance limitations stem from creative execution, targeting, placement, or other campaign variables.

Skills & Requirements

Required Experience

  • A minimum of three years’ experience managing Meta advertising accounts with monthly budgets of $20,000 or more.
  • Strong, hands-on experience running Google Ads across multiple campaign types.
  • Proven success in scaling profitable campaigns while maintaining or improving efficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of Meta’s auction dynamics, attribution models, and optimisation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Meta’s latest tools, features, and beta programmes, including Advantage+ and Andromeda.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, and linking advertising performance to sales and revenue outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to design structured tests, analyse performance data, and clearly communicate insights and recommendations.

Working Style

  • Highly autonomous yet collaborative, with the judgement to act independently while knowing when to escalate or align with the wider team.
  • Comfortable operating in evolving environments and navigating ambiguity as platforms and strategies change.
  • Strongly data-driven, with the ability to articulate the strategic rationale behind decisions.
  • A keen eye for creative effectiveness, understanding what drives ad performance beyond surface-level metrics.
  • Highly organised and methodical in testing, documentation, and reporting processes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience running TikTok advertising campaigns.
  • Background in education, online courses, or lead generation–focused businesses.
  • Familiarity with managing and scaling multi-brand advertising account structures.

Reporting Structure

The role reports directly to Jonathan, the Chief Revenue Officer, and works closely on a day-to-day basis with the Ads Manager to ensure strategic alignment, effective prioritisation, and strong execution across all paid media initiatives.
