Job Overview
The company is looking for a strategic CRM Strategist to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies across email and SMS channels. This position blends strategic insight with practical execution, focusing on enhancing customer engagement and driving revenue growth throughout every stage of the customer journey.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy across email and SMS channels to drive list growth, activation, retention, revenue, and engagement throughout the customer journey.
- Create and maintain a strategic roadmap, supported by monthly presentations and data-driven testing initiatives to continuously optimise performance.
- Collaborate closely with designers, specialists, and clients, incorporating feedback from key stakeholders to refine and enhance campaign strategies.
- Oversee the performance and overall health of email and SMS channels, ensuring effective audience segmentation, engaging content, proper list hygiene, and high deliverability rates.
- Manage advanced Klaviyo logic, providing both production and technical support as required.
- Develop detailed reports and actionable insights to guide ongoing improvements.
- Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and consistent delivery of high-quality results.
- Manage accounts and project scopes effectively, maintaining alignment with client objectives and timelines.
Skills & Requirements
- Demonstrates excellent time management and communication abilities.
- Possesses a minimum of four years’ experience in strategic planning, email and SMS marketing, client services, and full-cycle campaign management, ideally within an agency environment.
- Brings essential experience in eCommerce or retail lifecycle marketing, preferably across multiple verticals.
- Skilled in developing and optimising loyalty engagement strategies through email and SMS channels.
- Proven history of delivering outstanding results in generating lifecycle marketing revenue.
- Experienced in designing and executing continuous testing frameworks to drive ongoing performance improvements.
- Familiarity with Mobile App, Mobile Push, Web Push, and In-App Messaging is considered advantageous.
- Hands-on experience using a range of marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Iterable, Braze, Attentive, and Postscript is beneficial.
- Proficient in structuring and refining marketing CRM technology stacks, with strong knowledge of leading CRM systems and the use of tracking and personalisation tools to enhance the customer experience.
- Possesses strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Displays creativity in developing campaigns that effectively engage, educate, and inspire the target audience.
- Demonstrates excellent writing skills with a commitment to continually improving customer connection through compelling written communication.
- Excels in collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams.
- Operates as a proactive self-starter, showing strong ownership and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
