Job Overview

Ruby Labs is looking to add a motivated and meticulous Junior Email Marketing Specialist to its expanding CRM & Email Marketing team. This role offers a fantastic chance for those eager to launch or advance their career in digital marketing by playing a key part in managing lifecycle campaigns for several rapidly growing brands.
The successful candidate will collaborate directly with the CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Manager and the Marketing Director to implement email workflows, conduct A/B testing, handle localisation efforts, and monitor campaign effectiveness. They will gain hands-on experience with platforms such as Customer.io and Mixpanel, contributing to the company’s goals of boosting customer engagement, retention, and conversion rates across all Ruby Labs brands.

Core Responsibilities

  • Set up and launch email campaigns and automated workflows in Customer.io following briefs and templates
  • Design and run A/B tests on subject lines, content, and CTAs to optimise open and conversion rates
  • Manage email localisation across multiple languages using AI tools and localisation guidelines
  • Track key email performance metrics (open rate, CTR, CVR, unsubscribe rate) using Mixpanel and Customer.io
  • Compile weekly performance reports, identifying trends and anomalies
  • Provide operational support including quality assurance, list hygiene, tagging, and UTM tracking
  • Collaborate with designers, product teams, and data analysts to ensure campaigns are on-brand, accurate, and effective

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of practical experience in email marketing, CRM, digital marketing, or marketing operations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Customer.io or comparable platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Braze. Familiarity with analytics tools like Mixpanel or Google Analytics is advantageous. Basic grasp of A/B testing and audience segmentation.
  • Language & Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills. Experience with localisation or managing content in multiple languages is beneficial.
  • Personal Attributes: Quick learner with enthusiasm for email marketing. Highly detail-oriented and focused on process adherence. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Strong organisational skills and capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
