Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering integrated customer lifecycle campaigns across multiple channels, with a focus on driving acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and long-term loyalty. Operating within a customer-centric and compliance-driven marketing team, this role plays a key part in crafting personalised experiences that resonate with pet owners and build lasting trust.


Core Responsibilities

  • Customer Journey Development
    Design and refine user journeys across key stages such as acquisition, onboarding, retention, and reactivation.
  • Initiative Support
    Contribute to broader marketing efforts, including loyalty programmes and referral campaigns, while documenting processes for transparency and future reference.
  • Campaign Execution
    Launch and manage below-the-line campaigns via channels like email and SMS, using HubSpot for automation and delivery scheduling.
  • Regulatory Adherence
    Ensure all communications and data processes comply with Australian financial and privacy legislation.
  • Audience Analysis & Targeting
    Examine customer behaviours and data patterns to identify segmentation opportunities for tailored communications.
  • Message Personalisation
    Create dynamic, audience-specific content that enhances engagement and supports conversion efforts through targeted messaging strategies.
  • Content Creation & Messaging Strategy
    Develop informative, lifecycle-appropriate content that aligns with customer needs and ensures clarity in tone and purpose.
  • Cross-Team Coordination
    Work closely with content, compliance, marketing, and product teams to ensure consistent and aligned messaging.
  • Campaign Measurement & Testing
    Track campaign metrics and KPIs, conducting A/B tests to continuously improve engagement and overall performance.
  • CRM Data Management
    Maintain a clean and structured CRM database to support accurate segmentation and targeting efforts.

Skills & Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in CRM, direct marketing, or lifecycle marketing.
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, CRM, or a related field.
  • Background in insurance, financial services, or related sectors.
  • Proficient in CRM and automation tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Solid knowledge of email and SMS marketing strategies, including segmentation and campaign optimisation.
  • Experience working in regulated industries, particularly in financial services or insurance.
  • Expertise in leveraging customer data to enhance marketing results and improve customer retention.
  • High attention to detail and adept at managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Self-disciplined and resilient, comfortable working across different time zones in a remote work environment.
  • Knowledge of the Australian regulatory framework.
  • Passion or experience in pets or animal welfare.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong commitment to values, with a keen understanding of compliance and data ethics.
