Job Overview
The Content & Social Media Specialist will be responsible for planning, creating, managing, and publishing engaging content across multiple digital channels, including social media platforms, blogs, success stories, email campaigns, and the company website. The role involves full ownership of the content calendar, producing short-form video content, crafting compelling copy, and maintaining consistent brand messaging
Core Responsibilities
Content Development & Strategy
- Plan and manage a multi-channel content calendar.
- Create social media posts, captions, blogs, newsletters, and landing page copy.
- Repurpose podcasts, webinars, and case studies into short-form content.
- Identify relevant and timely content topics.
- Write value-driven messaging aligned with brand voice and SEO briefs.
- Collaborate with freelancers on templates and light design needs using Canva.
Social Media Management
- Manage daily posting across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
- Support the launch of TikTok and explore Pinterest as a future channel.
- Produce short-form video content for Reels and TikTok with cross-functional and sales teams.
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments, messages, and interactions.
- Maintain consistent tone, visual identity, and messaging across all platforms.
Website & Email Content
- Update website content, blogs, success stories, and landing pages.
- Assist with writing newsletters and educational email content.
Collaboration & Operations
- Work closely with the SEO Specialist to align topics and follow content briefs.
- Support internal teams with product-focused content needs.
- Track and analyse content and social performance to optimise future content.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
- Proven experience producing short-form video content is essential for this role.
- Prior exposure to nonprofit, B2B, or service-based industries will be considered an advantage.
