About the Role
Wamly is on the hunt for a Content Design & Copywriting Specialist who is passionate about storytelling, brand messaging, and creating content that drives real business results.
In this pivotal role, you’ll shape Wamly’s voice across all digital touchpoints — from high-converting email campaigns and SEO-optimised blog posts to persuasive sales content and thought-leadership assets. You’ll work closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to craft content that educates, converts, and elevates Wamly’s position in the HR tech space.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the development and execution of a content strategy focused on SEO, brand authority, and lead generation.
- Write, edit, and optimise various types of content: blogs, emails, whitepapers, landing pages, product collateral, and social posts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and product teams to support go-to-market efforts.
- Ensure brand voice and storytelling are consistent across all platforms.
- Create event and promotional content to support marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Stay up to date with content and SEO trends in the SaaS and HR tech landscape.
What They Are Looking For
Education:
- Degree or diploma in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of content marketing, copywriting, or editorial experience.
- Strong portfolio of B2B content, ideally in SaaS or tech environments.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and brand messaging skills.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation.
- Proficiency with tools like Mailchimp, Zoho, WordPress, or other CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation systems.
- Experience writing for various content formats (blog, social, email, landing pages, whitepapers).
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience developing B2B content strategy.
- Basic HTML or CMS knowledge.
- An interest in HR tech or understanding of HR industry trends.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid remote role, ideal for professionals based in South Africa. You’ll be expected to work from the Irene, Centurion office three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.
