Position Overview
Pixsan is looking for a skilled Assistant UX/UI Designer to join its team on a part-time basis. This fully remote position requires availability during Pacific Time Zone hours. The ideal candidate brings a sharp eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and hands-on experience with both design and implementation tools.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and refining intuitive interfaces for both web and mobile applications.
- Partner with the design team to produce wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Apply Figma to manage design systems, component libraries, and user journey mapping.
- Contribute to motion and interactive design prototypes, adding depth and energy to concepts.
- Build and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are translated smoothly into final products.
- Take part in design reviews, offering thoughtful input and feedback.
Skills & Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience working with Figma, including UI design, prototyping, and managing design systems.
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in Figma Motion Prototyping, with a strong preference for candidates skilled in interactive and motion design.
- At least 3 years’ experience using WordPress and Elementor for page building, customisation, and responsive design.
- Solid knowledge of UX principles, accessibility standards, and best practices for responsive layouts.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work part-time hours that align with the Pacific Time Zone.
- Familiarity with usability testing and user research methodologies.
- Background in optimising web performance and creating SEO-friendly designs.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI projects as well as motion prototyping.
