Role Overview
The company is seeking a digitally savvy, trend-aware social media specialist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of social platforms, communicates fluently through modern digital formats such as GIFs and memes, and excels at transforming engagement into a loyal and growing online audience.
Core Responsibilities
The Social Media Manager brings clients’ brands to life online, ensuring engaging and results-driven content across multiple platforms. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing creative social media campaigns aligned with brand and business goals.
- Producing distinctive multimedia content that captures attention and drives engagement.
- Managing daily operations of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Planning, scheduling, and publishing content using tools like Meta Business Suite or Meltwater.
- Running competitions, influencer collaborations, and promotional campaigns to boost visibility.
- Engaging with online communities and maintaining active client interaction.
- Monitoring performance through analytics and social listening, optimising strategies accordingly.
- Researching trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to stay ahead.
- Collaborating with internal teams for cohesive campaigns and consistent messaging.
- Supporting event-related content, including live coverage and photography.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in both remote and office settings.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
- Proven track record of growing audiences and driving engagement across multiple platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and platform best practices.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills, complemented by a keen eye for design and storytelling.
- High proficiency in Canva, with familiarity in other creative tools.
- Creative and innovative mindset capable of generating ideas that resonate with audiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and client interactions.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, with experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to analyse data, extract insights, and apply findings to optimise strategies.
- Experience in managing online communities and fostering customer engagement.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in all work produced.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic, with a drive to achieve results.
