About the Role
Tenpoint Labs, a forward-thinking digital marketing firm at the frontier of AI-driven search, is seeking a talented and detail-obsessed SEO Writer/Editor to join its globally distributed team. The company partners with fast-growing startups and established brands to help them thrive across AI search engines (like ChatGPT and Perplexity), traditional search platforms (Google, Bing), and social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram).
This is a remote role open to applicants in South Africa who are passionate about writing, fascinated by the future of search, and eager to work at the intersection of AI and human creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Create Long-Form SEO Content: Produce high-quality, engaging blog posts and articles optimized for discoverability across AI-powered and traditional search engines, using Tenpoint Labs’ proprietary methodologies.
- Craft Social Media Copy: Develop sharp, on-brand written content for platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram to enhance visibility, encourage engagement, and support full-funnel marketing objectives.
- Edit with Precision: Conduct line-by-line editing of both AI-generated and human-written content to ensure grammatical accuracy, tone consistency, and overall content excellence.
- Work with AI Tools: Utilize Tenpoint Labs’ suite of internal AI tools to support ideation, outlining, drafting, and optimization.
- Bridge AI and Human Creativity: Evaluate and refine AI-generated content to elevate it to editorial standards using expert judgment.
- Optimize for Visibility: Apply SEO best practices and new AI search principles to ensure content is discoverable and strategically positioned across platforms.
- Support Content Flywheels: Contribute to the end-to-end content cycle — from planning and production to publishing — to support lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure every piece of content meets internal quality benchmarks and aligns with client goals.

- Exceptional Writer & Editor: Demonstrated ability to write engaging long-form articles and high-impact social copy, with a strong portfolio showcasing quality, range, and adaptability.
- Detail-Oriented: A meticulous editor who finds joy in polishing content to perfection.
- SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of traditional SEO and a willingness to master AI-based search optimization techniques.
- Tech-Savvy: Ability to understand technical products, particularly in SaaS, AI, and data-driven environments, and translate complex concepts into accessible content.
- AI-Comfortable: Confident using AI tools professionally, with a strong aptitude for integrating them into daily workflows.
- Curious & Proactive: Naturally inquisitive, self-motivated, and eager to continuously learn, iterate, and improve.
- Strategic Thinker: Able to write with the bigger picture in mind — thinking about branding, voice, and content’s role in the sales funnel.
