Job Overview
The company seeks a technically proficient SEO Specialist with expertise in off-page optimisation and technical performance. This role involves managing backlink strategies, driving domain authority growth, and conducting technical audits to improve website performance and search visibility. Although the primary focus is on off-page and technical SEO, the specialist will also collaborate with the broader SEO team to support content development and on-page optimisation initiatives as required.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-impact link-building campaigns aimed at strengthening domain authority.
- Identify and secure high-quality backlink opportunities through targeted outreach, strategic partnerships, and content-driven initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits using tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Sistrix to detect and resolve performance-related issues.
- Utilise PHP development expertise to apply technical fixes across site architecture, indexing, Core Web Vitals (CWV), structured data, and crawlability.
- Possession of Laravel experience is considered a significant advantage.
- Oversee and maintain backlink profiles, including the management of disavow files to preserve optimal link equity.
- Track, measure, and analyse SEO performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager, delivering clear and actionable performance insights.
- Work collaboratively with content, web development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are consistently applied across all digital platforms.
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ experience in an SEO-focused role, demonstrating strong proficiency in off-page and technical SEO.
- Proven success in link-building, outreach initiatives, and enhancing domain authority.
- In-depth knowledge of technical SEO principles, including site speed optimisation, indexation, schema markup, and crawl efficiency.
- Excellent analytical and reporting abilities, with the capacity to present technical findings clearly and effectively to clients or internal stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of on-page and content SEO best practices.
- A current awareness of SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and the latest industry tools and technologies.
