Role Overview

The Paid Ads Specialist will manage, optimise, and report on paid media campaigns, ensuring they resonate with target audiences and achieve measurable results. The role requires hands-on experience with campaign management, creative direction, and performance analysis, with a strong focus on eCommerce and beauty brands.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Strategy & Execution

  • Plan, create, and manage paid ad campaigns on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, with a primary focus on Meta and TikTok.
  • Tailor campaigns to the African American haircare market, ensuring messaging resonates with target audiences.
  • Oversee ad creatives and ensure alignment with brand positioning.
  • Monitor performance and adjust campaigns to optimise ROI, CPC, and conversion rates.

Creative Strategy & Execution

  • Guide creative strategy for ad placements to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Collaborate with internal or external design teams to produce impactful visuals, including images, video, and copy.
  • Stay current with trends to integrate creative elements that boost reach and engagement.

Market Trends & Insights

  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and campaign performance to inform strategy.
  • Research competitor activity and apply insights to improve campaigns.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track key metrics such as CTR, conversion rate, and CPA.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
  • Test new creative approaches, targeting strategies, and optimisation techniques to improve performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2+ years of experience managing paid ad campaigns, ideally in eCommerce or beauty brands.
  • Proficient in Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads and TikTok Ads; Google Ads experience is a plus.
  • Experience with campaign strategy, creative development, and ad placements.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimise campaigns effectively.
  • Familiarity with ad management tools and CRM platforms is advantageous.
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented, and able to deliver campaigns independently.
  • Clear communicator capable of presenting performance insights and recommendations.
