Ideal Candidate

Core Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive keyword research and analyse search intent using industry-standard SEO tools
- Develop detailed weekly SEO content briefs to support the blog strategy of the marketing team
- Work closely with content creators and marketing personnel to ensure consistent, high-quality content aligned with SEO goals
- Monitor market trends and organic search behaviours to identify timely and relevant content opportunities
- Provide strategic recommendations on keyword usage, topic selection, content structure, and internal linking to boost traffic
- Review and audit existing content to uncover optimisation and improvement opportunities
- Keep up to date with the latest SEO algorithm changes and developments in content marketing practices
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of five years’ practical experience in SEO, gained either within an agency environment or through in-house roles
- Exceptional research and analytical capabilities, with a keen eye for data-driven insights
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective SEO content strategies, including the creation of detailed content briefs
- Proficient in using SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Moz, or similar industry tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and organised documentation
- Additional advantage: Background in B2B or advertising technology-related SEO content initiatives
- Highly self-motivated and capable of operating autonomously with minimal supervision.
Additional Information
- Schedule:
- Part-Time: Approximately 20 hours per week
- Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EDT/EST (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM South Africa Standard Time)
- Location: South Africa (Preference given to candidates based in Johannesburg or Cape Town)
