The company is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Social Media Specialist to oversee and expand its digital presence across various platforms. This role involves creating compelling content, enhancing brand visibility, boosting audience interaction, and supporting marketing campaigns through strategic social media management.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic social media plan that aligns with the company’s objectives.
- Produce, curate, and publish engaging content—including text, images, videos, and stories—across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others as required.
- Manage daily posting schedules and maintain an organised content calendar.
- Monitor social media channels, responding promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and inquiries.
- Track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics, including engagement, reach, conversions, and audience growth.
- Conduct competitive research and remain up to date with industry trends and platform developments.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging and campaign alignment.
- Oversee paid social media campaigns, managing budgets and optimising performance.
- Support influencer partnerships and brand collaborations to enhance reach and engagement.
- Uphold the brand voice and ensure consistency across all digital channels.
Skills & Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing social media accounts for businesses.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and scheduling software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
- Experience with paid social media advertising is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities.
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with social media management platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit.
- Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles.
- Experience analysing KPIs and making data-driven recommendations.
- Skills in photography or short-form video content creation.
