Job Overview
The company is seeking a skilled and detail-driven Email Marketing Specialist & Designer to join its expanding eCommerce team. This role is well suited to a professional who excels in written communication, has a strong visual design sense, and understands how email copy, layout, and performance data work together to generate revenue.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the full email marketing process, including the creation and execution of high-performing campaigns and automated email flows from concept through to delivery and optimisation.
This position is fully remote, with availability required during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and launch email marketing campaigns and automated email flows
- Produce clean, mobile-first email designs with a clear and effective visual hierarchy
- Craft compelling, on-brand email copy with a strong focus on clarity, tone, and grammatical accuracy
- Build, manage, and optimise key lifecycle flows, including welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and win-back journeys
- Segment audiences and personalise messaging to improve relevance and performance
- Plan and execute A/B testing across subject lines, copy, layouts, and calls to action
- Track and analyse performance metrics, using insights to improve engagement and drive revenue
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and adherence to deliverability best practices
- Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to support product launches, campaigns, and promotional initiatives
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ experience in email marketing, preferably within eCommerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) environments
- Exceptional written English skills, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and on-brand copy
- A strong eye for design, coupled with excellent attention to detail
- Hands-on experience using Klaviyo (preferred) or similar email service providers
- Ability to independently write copy and design high-quality email campaigns
- Solid understanding of email deliverability best practices and compliance standards
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage workload effectively in a remote working environment
- Availability to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours
Nice to Have
- Experience running A/B tests and optimising campaigns based on revenue and performance data
- Familiarity with audience segmentation, personalisation strategies, and lifecycle marketing
- Basic working knowledge of HTML for email design and editing
