Core Responsibilities
Strategic Link Acquisition & Outreach
- Design and implement link-building campaigns that align with overarching SEO strategies
- Research, evaluate, and build relationships with bloggers, publishers, and relevant website owners
- Write personalised, attention-grabbing outreach emails to maximise response rates
- Manage follow-up communication and negotiate link placement terms when required
- Monitor link acquisition efforts and assess their impact on SEO performance
System and Process Management
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Pipedrive)
- Log all outreach interactions, responses, and follow-up actions in detail
- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on campaign progress and outcomes
Team Collaboration & Insight Sharing
- Coordinate with SEO and content teams to align link-building with content and keyword goals
- Assist in preparing monthly reports that showcase achievements and key learnings
- Stay current with SEO best practices and monitor competitor backlink strategies
Skills & Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience driving successful link acquisition and outreach initiatives
- Highly self-driven, organised, and detail-oriented in daily execution and reporting
- Proven ability to manage multiple outreach campaigns simultaneously, along with CRM tracking and task management
- Solid grasp of core SEO principles, particularly off-site optimisation strategies
- Exceptional command of written English, with a natural ability to write engaging, persuasive outreach messages
- Comfortable using industry-standard SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or their equivalents
- Prior experience in a digital agency setting or supporting multiple client brands
- Understanding of backlink metrics such as domain authority, trust flow, and link relevance
- Background in digital PR or forming strategic content partnerships
