Puffy.com, a $1B+ e-commerce brand, is seeking a skilled copywriter to lead conversion-driven content creation. The role involves crafting high-performing copy at scale with the support of AI tools, collaborating with the CRO to develop A/B testing strategies, and continuously optimising content across landing pages, emails, advertisements, and social media channels.
Core Responsibilities
- Craft and Optimise AI-Driven Copy: Utilise generative AI tools to produce initial drafts and creative variations for landing pages, emails, ads, and social media, then refine and enhance content to ensure consistency with brand voice and maximise conversions.
- Develop Expert Prompts: Create and iterate on sophisticated AI prompts that transform customer insights, data, and brand guidelines into high-quality, conversion-focused content.
- Drive A/B Testing Initiatives: Partner with the CRO team to design, execute, and analyse a large volume of A/B tests, leveraging AI to generate copy variants and hypotheses, accelerating testing efficiency.
- Build a Continuous Feedback Loop: Evaluate performance metrics to optimise copy while enhancing internal AI models and prompt libraries, improving the effectiveness of the content creation process over time.
- Establish Best Practices: Stay ahead of AI copywriting and prompt engineering trends, documenting and sharing insights to define best practices for the marketing team.
- Ensure a Cohesive User Experience: Work closely with design and product teams to integrate AI-assisted copy seamlessly, enhancing the overall customer journey.
- Manage Prompt and Content Libraries: Curate and maintain centralised libraries of high-performing prompts, copy frameworks, and content assets for key AI platforms.
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct-response or conversion-focused copywriting, backed by a demonstrable track record of results.
- At least 1 year of practical experience leveraging generative AI tools in a professional marketing setting to create and optimise content.
- Strong understanding of CRO principles, A/B testing methodologies, and data-driven decision-making.
- Expertise in prompt engineering, with the ability to guide AI in producing persuasive, on-brand, and contextually relevant content aligned with conversion goals.
- Analytical and experimental mindset, with a passion for testing new ideas and technologies to identify what drives performance.
- Familiarity with AI-driven testing platforms, dashboards, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Exceptional editing skills and keen attention to detail, ensuring AI-generated content meets high standards of quality, clarity, and brand consistency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple projects while quickly adapting to new tools and processes.
