Core Requirements:
- A recognised tertiary qualification
- Completion of an accredited 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, TEYL, or CELTA course
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- A clear criminal background (no criminal record)
- Minimum of two years’ experience teaching English online
- A clear, neutral English accent for effective communication
Technical Requirements:
- Computer: Desktop or laptop with an Intel Core i5 processor or higher (minimum 2 cores, 4 logical CPUs) and at least 8GB of RAM
- Internet: Stable fibre connection with a minimum download/upload speed of 20 Mbps, connected via LAN cable (not Wi-Fi)
- Equipment: High-definition webcam and a noise-cancelling headset for clear audio and video
- Power Supply: Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system to ensure continued teaching during power outages (e.g., load shedding)
