Job Overview

A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Email Marketing Manager with a strong background in direct response and performance-driven strategy. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on measurable outcomes and knows how to turn email into a high-performing growth channel.

Rather than managing standard newsletters, this role focuses on creating data-driven, segmented, and automated email campaigns specifically designed to boost weekly webinar attendance, increase appointment bookings, and drive revenue. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading all aspects of the email marketing function from strategic planning and content development to campaign execution and performance analysis.

Core Responsibilities

  • Email Channel Leadership
    The Email Marketing Manager will take full responsibility for the email channel, overseeing its strategic direction and day-to-day execution with a strong emphasis on driving measurable outcomes.
  • CRM Workflow Administration
    Builds, updates, and manages automation workflows, tagging systems, and email sequences within platforms like GoHighLevel or similar customer relationship management tools.
  • Testing & Optimisation
    Conducts ongoing A/B testing on various campaign elements such as subject lines, copy, design, calls-to-action, and timing to enhance overall campaign performance.
  • Campaign Development & Deployment
    Responsible for crafting persuasive, conversion-focused email content; including automated flows, promotional messages, and lead-nurturing sequences and ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Audience Targeting & Segmentation
    Leverages customer behaviour, demographics, and lifecycle stage data to create highly targeted messaging tailored to distinct audience segments.
  • List Management & Deliverability
    Implements best practices for maintaining list hygiene, ensuring compliance, and boosting deliverability through engagement-based strategies.
  • Analytics & Insights
    Monitors key email metrics; including open and click-through rates, webinar attendance, appointment bookings, and revenue per sendand uses insights to guide continuous improvement.

Skills and Requirements

  • Strong blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution in email marketing
  • Deep expertise in marketing automation, tagging systems, funnel design, and high-converting email layouts
  • Proficient in AI writing tools such as ChatGPT, Jasper, or Copy.ai for rapid and precise content creation
  • Skilled in designing and implementing multi-step email journeys that move prospects through the sales funnel
  • Experienced in analysing data and campaign metrics to optimise email performance continuously
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced settings requiring quick testing, adaptation, and iteration
  • Ability to maintain consistent brand voice, tone, and style across all email communications
  • Understands customer psychology to develop messaging that builds trust and drives engagement
  • Knowledgeable about email compliance regulations including GDPR and CAN-SPAM
  • Bonus: Experience customizing campaigns for niche industries like dental or healthcare practices
  • Required: Minimum 7 years managing email marketing programs
  • Required: At least 8 years of direct response copywriting experience
